Project Wolf


During my last trip to Italy's Abruzzo National Park, I had the pleasure of not only seeing but also filming my first wild wolves.

Now some of this footage will be starring in a nature documentary coming out later this year about reintroducing wolves to the Scottish highlands.

Project Wolf, a new short film from conservation filmmaker Lisa Marley, follows the work of charity Trees For Life who are studying the impact that these predators might have today on the people, native wildlife and landscapes. To do this, they behave like a "human wolfpack"! Living alongside the "human wolves" on their study simulations in the Caledonian forests, Lisa's film is as much about reconnecting ourselves to nature as it is about reintroduction.
